The Handpan F#2 Low Nordlys 9 + 6 Notes is a truly unique melodic percussion instrument made from two connected steel hemispheres:
the DING (top side) and the GU (bottom side).
The DING side features 16 tonal areas arranged in a circular layout around the central dome, similar to a gong. This configuration creates a wide, expressive tonal range and allows for fluid, intuitive playing.
The GU side includes a 10 cm resonator hole equipped with a Special Bass Plug, designed to produce exceptionally deep and powerful low frequencies.
This handpan is tuned so that any playing sequence sounds harmonious, making it accessible for beginners while remaining inspiring for experienced musicians. Its sound is perfectly suited for meditation, relaxation, sound healing, and both solo and group performances.
