The DING side features 9 carefully tuned tonal fields arranged in a circular layout around the central dome, creating a smooth and intuitive playing surface similar to a gong.
The GU side includes a 10 cm resonator opening that allows expressive bass modulation and percussive effects similar to an udu drum. This expands the dynamic range of the instrument and adds rhythmic depth to melodic performance.
