Handpan D Kurd 9 Notes is a unique melodic percussion instrument consisting of two connected metal hemispheres: the DING (top side) and the GU (bottom side). The DING side features 9 tonal areas that form a "tonal circle" around the central dome called the DING, similar to a gong. The GU side has a 10 cm resonator hole that can be played like an Udu or used to modulate the DING sound.
This instrument is tuned to the D Kurd scale, known for its versatility and harmonious sound. It includes the notes D3/ A3, A#3, C4, D4, E4, F4, G4, A4, offering a rich and meditative musical experience.
